A new database has been added to the collection of Butler’s subscription databases!

The National Network for Artist Placement is a national directory of Arts internships, whose purpose is “to shorten the distance for an emerging artist who wishes to become a paid professional artist. We help any artist who chooses to manage their own careers.”

The growing collection of 60,000-plus tracks includes recordings from the world’s greatest labels including Hyperion, Bridge Records, Sanctuary Classics, Artemis-Vanguard, Hänssler Classic, Vox and many more. Coverage includes music written from the earliest times (e.g. Gregorian Chant) to the present, including many contemporary composers. Repertoire ranges from vocal and choral music, to chamber, orchestral, solo instrumental, and opera.

Many of the libraries’ subscription databases have “mobile” versions that are scaled down to fit the screen size of most handheld devices. Just visit our Databases page like normal, but click on the “Mobile” icons located next to the database names to search those databases on your handheld device.
