Comments Off on Multi-Format Memory Card Readers in Irwin Library There are two multi-format memory card readers available in Irwin Library. Most formats and sizes of memory cards can be used with these. If you need to transfer photos, video recordings, or other rich media files, these devices are already connected to computers via USB, so you can just plug your card in and go.
One device is on the iMac in the Rich Media Room downstairs in the Education Commons.
The other device is on the Multimedia Station PC in the Information Commons (the computer with the scanner).
Comments Off on New Charging Station in Irwin Library Irwin Library now has a charging station available for charging your mobile devices. It is located at the Information Commons Desk and has the following types of connections:
If your device uses any of these connections for charging, you are invited to recharge at the Information Commons Desk while using the library. You don’t even have to bring an adapter!
(NOTE: The library is not responsible for stolen, lost, or misplaced devices.)
Comments Off on Libraries Closing Early Monday To allow everyone the opportunity to cheer on the Bulldogs tonight (and to reduce your level of guilt for not working on your papers), both libraries will be closing early tonight. The Science Library at 8:00 pm and Irwin Library at 9:00 pm.
