Meeting Notes from April 9

We are planning on making posters tomorrow at

 

Starbucks table this week Tuesday from 3-5pm and Thursday 1:30-3:30pm

 

Peace Week Events for this week:

  •  Friday concert: 3-5pm at Holcomb Gardens
  • “Women Representation in War” Tuesday in Atherton 326 at 7pm
  • Philosophy Club JH 216 Wednesday at noon
  • Prayer Vigil at star fountain at 11:30am on Wednesday
  • “Invisible War” documentary showing sexual assault in the military on Wednesday from 9-11pm in JH?
  • Hoosiers Against Gun Violence speaker will be speaking Thursday at 7pm in Atherton 326
  • Windows and Mirrors: 9-5:30 on weekdays and 12-5 on weekends in Efroymson Center for Creative Writing (counts as cultural requirement). It ends Sunday April 14th.

 

Vagina Monologs:

  • Deno is paying for our programs and they will be in color!
    • We are printing 125 in color and
    • Set-up at 4:30 on Saturday: we need to take down tables and set up rows of tables to do that
    • Dress rehearsal happening on Saturday in the Riley Room at 5:30pm!
    • We will be having the grievance box again for people to use at the beginning of the show when they come in
    • Later after Vagina Monologs there will be an after party! Check your Facebook to see the time and address to Kelly and Kate’s house

 

Erotic Crafts and Conversations is taking place in the Diversity Center craft room from 9-10 pm on Thursday!

  • Feel free to bring craft supplies and cardboard and whatever you would like to make vaginas out of

  • Kelly at 2:30pm in JH 336C– World Poverty and Violence and how transnational events are actually helping
