  • PARAPHRASING GENOCIDE’S SUICIDE

    by ERIC

Judging in words, sentence is death attacked by verbal grenades by the judgmental wishing for a repaired heart but remaining unenlightened, blowing out candles but still embarking toward the light, but reprimanding my darkened theory, wishing for a spark of thought to ignite this eclipse, prejudice ensues these lacerations pertaining to the pessimists  as they try to rip off the emotional band-aids, while the words, like whips, try to vanish from the wrists that splurge freely to the black abyss, a splattered letter written in crimson, wishing for the three lettered words, eight letters in length, to stop being shoved down throats and perforates the indulgence oblivion is cleansed in slits and bullying keeps honesty clenched in my abdomen, snapping adolescence’s  independence to wish to mention, remaining mute to stop the emotion of the cruel intention, words loaded like magazines, paragraphs entwined paraphrasing the distance, and how someone from so far away can add additional indent, carrying words, subtracting the happiness, two hearts at division.

  • WOMEN DECODED

    by DARYL (FLOW)

    Women Are Hard To Explain
They Come In All Shapes And Sizes
Among Winning The Lotto Or Finding A Dollar On The Ground
They’re The Best Of All Prizes,
    To Some That Is.
Most Girls My Age Are So Blinded,
    Stressing About Relationships
Looking In The Mirror At Their Butt Smiling About How Big It Is

Then The Dean Of All Women………. The Moms! >_<
You May Just See Her As An Old Hag But Back Then To Your Dad She Was The Bomb
The One Who’s On Your Back Constantly Yelling For You To Finish Your Room
You Should Listen Now For She’s The One Who Approves Who Jumps The Broom

Then There’s The Ones Who Try To Cover Up Their Flaws With Lots Of Makeup
Feeling So Insecure Because of Her Recent Breakup
Going Home Crying Every Day Because Of Jerks Calling Her Ugly
Trying To Hide Her True Feelings By Finding What They Say As Funny

Then There’s The Conceited Ones Who Only Think Of Themselves
Hint: All You See Is Pictures Of Themselves On Their Shelves
OMG! The Most Popular Guy in School Noticed Me (Michael Carson).
I Can Barely Keep A Clear Mind, My Heart’s On Fire #Arson

Then There’s The Ones Who Do For Themselves What Others Can’t
On That Note Her Father Wasn’t Much Of A Man,
He Could Wield A Brush But He Couldn’t Paint
The Highest Of Her Class. 4.0 The Valedictorian
Only Wish Is To Make A Future And Make History, Sort Of A Historian
I Could Go On & On About Women And How Their Lives Are Molded
But These Are Just A Few Ways I Find, See Women Decoded

  • ABORTION

    by CURTIS

This girl is trying to blow things out of proportion
She is so scared she wants to get an abortion
We both need to accept it and stop acting ignorant
Get our priorities in order and see what’s important
She tried to seduce me, I shouldn’t have let her
Instead we made a movie but it was missing a director
Kept making it rain I wish it was the weather
I’m not going to miss her but I’m never going to forget her
I was being dumb not using protection
We should’ve never shown that much affection
Now we have beef like the east and the west coast
She is trying to sue me with money so high like she rolling up the best smoke

  • THE KOBE POEM

    by JORDAN

    1. The Kobe shoe is like a window of diamonds – they’re clean

    2. The Kobe shoe is the fastest shoe ever like a cheetah, but faster

    3. The black mamba shoe is better than the king shoe 24 > 6.

    4. The Kobe shoe is like a river when I walk in them, soft and smooth. When you walk in them, you don’t want to stop walking

    5. The Kobe shoe wakes up at night and plays basketball, never caught off guard.

    6. When I am sleep the Kobe shoes are wanting and wanting to get out.

    7. The Kobe shoes are tucked in just like me.

    8. The Kobe shoe is like a car it never stops because it’s full of gas for its next player.

    9. The Kobe shoe is like a gun. It kills when I come around.

    10. The Kobe shoe licks my leg like a dog do.

    11. I read the Kobe shoe like I read The Cat and The Hat.

    12. The Kobe shoe helps you jump higher than Lebron’s shoes.

    13. Do you want to know where you can find the Kobe shoe: at the footlocker; come fast because we all know the Kobe shoe does wake up at night.

  • THE DEEPEST PAIN

    by DAIZJHA

I’m tired of crying for you, saying goodbye to you
Why, why all this pain, shackles and chains?
Why did you leave, I feel that I need you please?
    But I know I can’t have you
And still my body and soul pleads for you, begs for you
It’s hard to forget when I see that love
I want that, I need that, but I guess you’re long gone so you can’t see that
But why, why the goodbye, why did you lie?
Why did you cry when I rolled my eyes, what do you expect?
I’ve been let down too many times and still you’re the one who cries
But I am crying too because I want you
I would do anything just to hold you
But love is fake and so are you and I feel so dumb even writing about you
But that’s me, a kid, someone lost and abandoned, forgotten and oh so saddened
But when I see that face or hear that voice I can’t hate you, I must love you
Guess that’s how it is when love truly hits you.
