Teaching and Learning

There are a growing number of faculty members at Butler University are using Panopto to record live events, provide immediate feedback to their students and for assessment purposes.   Some of the pedagogical uses of Panopto that we have seen across campus include; recording student presentations, group discussions, focus groups, speech therapy sessions, counseling sessions, classroom lectures, small room presentations and learning modules.  Panopto can also be used to create instructional videos that include the computer screen, mouse movements and narration.

Use this page to share the ways you are using Panopto in your curriculum.   What type of assessment has been successful for you?  What recording processes have worked best?  Please share any of your thoughts about the use of this technology and any suggestions you might have for making it better.
