Google Apps

Google Apps is sometimes referred to as Google Drive though the two terms refer to slightly different things working together. Google Apps refers to the entire suite of online tools, powered by Google, which can be used for sharing files and working collaboratively in real time. Google Drive is one popular Google App that lets you store and access your files anywhere—on the web, on your hard drive, or on the go. Because Google Drive interacts with so many of the other Google Apps, they are often called the same thing. Remember Google Apps include all of the Google products whereas Google Drive only refers to the storage and access of your files.
