The Bible and Music

I enjoy listening to instruments and noises that were created in 1400 B.C. and comparing it to modern day church music.   Although the meaning is sometimes lost in translation, the rhythm and melody stays the same.  The instruments used during this time were quite different than the piano and organs used today.  I think it would be interesting to incorporate a lyre into modern day church music.
