The Bible and Music

Yesterday we talked about chanting and what it means in class.  Chanting stresses a lot on the words and uses the words almost like a melody.  I found this super interesting because I only thought that music generated my only instruments could this.  It was also super awkward when we read the psalm passage out loud and everyone was monotone, but as soon as we put melody in our voice, the passage turned alive and it was a little bit more exciting to read and listen.
