The Bible and Music

At first I was confused as to how we were going to spend an entire class period discussing the crucifixion but, to my surprise, I enjoyed myself. I really enjoyed when we discussed how the music presented in films about the crucifixion affect our view on the event as a whole.

In high school, I was involved in a club that created a feature length film. Among many of the other artistic elements of the film, music was discussed. We talked about how the music would affect the film itself. Finding this commonality between films with a religious context and others made the discussion riveting.
