The Bible and Music

Although music is typically looked at as just a form of art, there are also numerous other purposes that music can be used to accomplish. In class today we talked about how children’s music is typically simple and repetitive. They do this to make the songs easier for children to memorize. They do this in order to teach kids a lesson through the lyrics of the song. When a child sings along to a song and memorizes it, the hope is that he will eventually give some thought to the lyrics. This is why children music is so great for teaching kids lessons from the bible.
