The NBA’s play-in tournament has concluded with multiple teams emerging from the eight-team field to secure spots for the 2024 playoffs. Two teams in particular are highly touted for this year’s playoffs.
In one of the highly touted Tuesday NBA matchups, the NBA play-in game featured the Los Angeles Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans. The Lakers, led by LeBron James and Anthony Davis, faced off against the young and dynamic Pelicans, led by Zion Williamson for a chance to clinch a playoff spot.
The Lakers managed to secure a narrow victory, Despite a valiant effort from the Pelicans, led by Zion’s stellar performance, they fell short of securing a playoff spot.
On Wednesday, another highly anticipated matchup took place in the NBA play-in tournament. The Philadelphia 76ers faced off against the Miami Heat. The 76ers were able to pull off their first-ever win in tournament history.
The Lakers will move on to play the defending NBA champions in the Denver Nuggets in round 1 of the NBA playoffs and Philadelphia will face off against another highly touted team in the New York Knicks In round 1 of the NBA playoffs.
