The 2025 NFL Draft is right around the corner, and teams are looking for the NFL’s next big star. Teams like the Tennesse Titans, Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots, and New York Giants will look to rebound after disappointing 2024 seasons.

Coming in at number 1 in many mock drafts is Miami Hurricanes QB Cam Ward. The Titans are looking to move on from Will Levis and find their franchise quarterback. Ward had an impressive 2024 season, throwing for 4,313 yards and 39 touchdowns with only 7 interceptions.

Another name to look at in this year’s draft is Sheduer Sanders. The son of legendary defensive back Deion Sanders is looking to build his own legacy in the NFL. According to Mel Kiper Sanders is currently projected to go number 3 to the New York Giants. Sanders turned heads in his senior season at Colorado tallying 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns, and only 10 interceptions.

On the defensive side of the ball, Abdul Carter made his mark in the 2024 season and is expected to be a top 5 pick come April. Carter showed signs of being a premier edge rusher with 12 sacks, 61 pressures, and 23.5 tackles for loss. Mel Kiper projects the Cleveland Browns to draft him at 2 and pair him with elite edge rusher Myles Garrett.

Finally, the player who shocked the world last season by playing both sides of the ball and winning the Heisman Trophy, Travis Hunter. After an impressive season, Hunter currently is predicted to go 4th to the New York Giants. On defense, Hunter had 35 tackles and 4 interceptions, while also racking up 1,258 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns on offense.
