Maddie Library 2/4/13

There were a lot of questions from students tonight. I answered most of them, and helped a student find books for her research paper on civil rights. In two instances, I found that while the catalog said the book was available, it was not present on the shelf where it should be. I referred them to the circulation desk after I couldn’t find the book in the reference section or upstairs. Strange. I also reshelved the books on the reshelving cart.

Today I emailed Meg to finish my Moodle training. I started working on the Excel Training practice workbook, and I am almost done with the Photoshop training videos. Next shift I plan on finishing the Excel workbook, and do the iMovie and Library quiz.

Today I went over the iMovie powerpoint and script with Amy! After that I had some questions about saving projects in students’ own BUfiles, and Amy went over that with me and showed me the YouTube videos done by Information Commons. I watched most of the other videos, just to get a feel for what was available on our YouTube channel (I didn’t even know we had one!). Then I continued watching Atomic Learning videos on Dreamweaver.
