During my shift at CAT  worked on my Professional Development project so I could have a break from the Dreamweaver video training. I made a LinkedIn account and field out a majority of it. I connected with like two people from my Google contexts. Here’s the link. Then I made me a professional website/blog. I didn’t want to use WordPress because I am afraid that after i graduate i will lose it and I don’t really like Google Sites options. So i found this free website called Wix.com. Its really easy, there are a bunch of tutorials, templates, and options. During my shift at the library I went over how to how to read call numbers with Ginny and took my WordPress quiz.

I wrote my March Newsletter article on a new March Madness app, continued working on my WordPress blog, answered some questions and refilled a stapler and the printer paper.

I helped another librarian with some Microsoft Word troubles, answered a few questions, and worked on my LinkedIn profile some more. I also fixed a paper jam and filled the paper in the printer. I also showed Maddie how to close the IC desk because she’s closing on Friday.

Today in the library I put away some reference books and checked a couple shelves to ensure they were in order. I also helped a student with scanning a large image. For the rest of the time, I experimented with database searches and looked at the parking map and the library map.

I answered some questions and moved some non-reference books from our reshelving cart to the cart in the correct area. When trying to log an alum onto one computer, the user name and password didn’t work, not even for my log in, so someone will need to check that out. Katie put a note by it (the PC next to the MAC all the way in the back left corner).

I answered a few questions, logged some people in, filled the paper in the printer, put away some reference books, and did the end of the day report for the cash register.
