Chad Pingel

SGA President

My name is Chad Pingel, and I am a junior Marketing and Finance double-major from Des Moines, IA. As your SGA President, I serve our student body by representing students to numerous constituencies and by leading all student government activities. I became a part of our student government to best serve the students, and I hope to better the student life experience at Butler during my time serving. Our SGA can only be successful with student engagement, so please come to our events and interact with our tremendous student leaders, then you can provide us feedback on how we’re doing!

Outside of SGA, I enjoy meeting new students around Butler’s campus. We all share such diverse interests and backgrounds, and I’m always interested in hearing the stories of other people. I serve as a Butler Student Ambassador through the Office of Admissions, and I am also a brother in Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. I have found involvement to be one of the most rewarding aspects of my college career, and I would encourage you all to do the same. You can grow as an individual, explore your passions, and make some friends along the way.

Feel free at any to time to contact me via my Butler email at cpingel@butler.edu and you can also follow me on Twitter at @chadpingelSGA. #godawgs

Favorite Butler Memory

Starting my own business, Absolute Zero, through the Real Business Experience Program and operating it for a net profit to place 2nd at the annual business competition. Entrepreneurship is quite exhilarating and also challenging.
