The industrial revolution is the revolution that changed the way that people lived life and still impacts lives today.  It all began back in the late 1700s and continued on into the 19th century.  The industrial revolution made it possible for people to go about their lives doing tasks in minutes that would have normally taken them hours.  The biggest push of the industrial revolution was the mass production via the use of factories and machines powered by some of the inventions of the revolution.

The industrial revolution impacted many different breakthroughs of fields across the spectrum.  Some of which we will highlight here.  These include: Steam power, electricity, the textile industry, and transportation.  These are fields of which the human race has been greatly impacted by and are still feeling those impacts today.  Just think, what if the spinning jenny ha d not been invented, what would people do about clothing?  And if the steam engine had failed to come about, how exactly would people get around or transport goods over long distances?  People would be living drastically different lives these days without the invention of these now simple, but largely important machines.
