Summer Fusion

Charrette

A charrette is defined as “an intense period of design or planning activity.”

The first day participants will be presented with a variety of community challenges from Mark Fischer of Indiana Chamber of Commerce.  As a full group, participants will hen choose the challenge that is most relevant and pressing to them and develop a solution to the problem in small teams throughout the duration of Summer Fusion.  Students are expected to create a thoughtful, researched, response and present it in front of Summer Fusion faculty and relevant stakeholders at the end of the program to demonstrate some of the skills they have developed and knowledge of the city they have gained.
