ACEI 3.1 Integrating and applying knowledge for instruction

Candidates plan and implement instruction based on: 1) Annotated visual evidence is provided to capture the teaching of the lesson, 2) Learning Theories, 3) Candidate’s Knowledge of students, 4) Subject Matter & Appropriate Curricular Standards for Learners, 5) Community (what is the school context, what are the demographics of your school community according to the DoE website? How do your plans reflect the students’ contextual needs?) 6) The planning and implementation is provided and written clearly so a knowledgeable teacher could implement the plan in his/her own teaching, and 7) A reflection about the experience teaching the lessons is provided.
