The Butler Volleyball team kicked off its Spring season this past Friday against the Purdue Boilermakers. Playing against Purdue never seems to be an easy challenge for Butler, but they still gave it their all. Despite losing all four sets, resulting in a sweep, the Bulldogs remain hopeful for the rest of their Spring season.
With many players like Laiya Ebo and Reese Bates transferring after the Fall season, many Bulldog fans are curious to see who head coach Kyle Shondell brings in for the next regular season. With a surplus of players across the county entering the transfer portal, the possibilities are endless. Only time will tell what Butler volleyball will look like in the 2025 season.
There are four dates total for their spring season, with three remaining. Next up, the Bulldogs will be playing in a tournament in Angola, Indiana, on April 6th, playing opponents like Grand Valley State and Central Michigan. After that, they will play in another tournament in Louisville, Kentucky, on April 13th. Their last match up of their Spring season will be played at Ball State on April 20th against Ball State and possibly Indianapolis University-Purdue University Indianapolis or Xavier. Make sure to support and cheer on the Butler volleyball team through the Spring!
