Australian’s experience American Basketball for the first time

By Lauren Brice

Posted 24th July 2013

When a group of Australians entered the Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Tuesday they did not know anything about American basketball, the woman’s league, or what the name of the team from Indiana was. Within 5 minutes of the game we were all screaming, standing on our seats and yelling DEFENSE, as though we had supported the Fever’s our entire lives. Making three appearances on the largest basketball screen in the country was a definite highlight. I would tell anyone and everyone that if they make a trip to the states they absolutely must go to a game!
