The Butler University LMS Committee is divided into two teams which oversee the effectiveness of the operations, implementation, development, and pedagogical steering of the Butler University LMS, Moodle.
The Moodle Operations and Implementation team (MOI) is committed to the constant technical evaluation and improvement of the LMS functionality and ease of use. This includes enhancing overall functionality through the exploration, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of new technology.
The Moodle Development and Steering team (MDS) is committed to advocating for the greatest possible number of positive user experiences in the learning management system through thoughtful and intentional decisions. These decisions are guided by best practices in pedagogy, instructional design, and visual literacy.
Both teams seek to provide an intuitive platform that supports students’ learning.
