3. Submitting Turnitin Assignments

InformationTurnitin is an online software Butler has purchased for use with Moodle. Turnitin allows your instructors to check your submitted papers for plagiarism and provides them with access to advanced grading/commenting tools for giving you feedback.

  1. From the course page, click on the Turnitin assignment (2014-02-28 08_46_26-Course_ Matt Wright) to go to its summary page.
  2. On the summary page, you will see the description your instructor has written for the assignment. You will also see the Start date (when you can first submit an assignment), Due Date, and the Post Date (when you can receive a grade back). Click the My Submissions tab at the top.
  3. Enter a Submission Title. This is a required field, and your submission will not go through without it.
  4. In the File to Submit section, click the Choose File button and find the file you want to submit on your hard drive.
  5. Read the responsibility agreement and check the box to agree to it. Click the Add Submission button to send the file.
