Marketing

Most of the marketing will be done by referral or through outreach events that Pedigo conducts. If a patient from the homeless area is admitted to the emergency department for a cardiovascular event, the physician or pharmacist can discuss with them next steps upon discharge on managing their primary disease state. Discussion about transportation and access will be talked about with the patient as well as an endorsement of the utility of the clinic in helping reduce future hospitalizations.

Outreach events can also be carried out by the staff at Pedigo to make the communities they serve more aware of their services. This would involve street outreach at least two times a week with one time being during the morning and the other in the afternoon. This ensures we reach those in the area personally and advocate for the versatility of the services.

In addition to these services, Eskenazi Health will continue to promote their ambulatory care clinics in similar manners to what they are doing now which includes word of the mouth, discussion with health care teams, and communicating the advantage of having ambulatory care services easily accessible to the under served areas.
