The Butler women’s swimming team is coming off of a seventh place finish at the tenth Annual Butler Invitational last week. The Bulldogs scored a total of 143 points, with the highest finish of the meet coming from sophomore Emma Spotts in the 100 yard breast for a second place finish. Big East member Xavier ran away with the top spot scoring 625.5 points, followed by IUPUI with 572 points and Saint Louis with 497 points. The squad will head to Long Island, N.Y. for the BIG EAST Championships from Wednesday, February 20th to Saturday, February 23rd.
