We only have a week left to “Each One, Reach One” so let those great students know that you think they’d be a great teacher. Sometimes all it takes is one person believing in you, so be bold!
It is college enrollment season. A time when high school seniors are anxiously trying to decide which box to check under “major” for their college applications…
Do you know a great student -in your class, in your family, in your neighborhood- who would make an OUTSTANDING teacher?
Have you ever reached out to let him/her know the potential that you see?
In the next two weeks we are asking YOU to be part of our “Each One, Reach One” campaign to identify outstanding future teachers. Reach out to that student you know and have a conversation about the impact that he/she might have as an educator. In this day and age of many negative images of the teaching profession, it has become even more important to have current educators reach out to our best and brightest students and mentor them into the profession.
By intentionally promoting excellent students into the field of education we have the power to transform education one classroom at a time…
If you feel that, in addition to being a great teacher, that this student would also be a good fit at Butler, we would encourage you to share the admissions website with them…
We also invite you to share the name and contact information with us – we will have a faculty member personally follow up!
Please be aware that most college early application deadlines are November 1, so time is of the essence.
