Hello families, new and not so new! I want to welcome you all to the Lab School and hope to see you tonight from 6-7 at our open house. I am looking forward to reconnecting with you and getting to know our new families. School starts Monday and arrival begins at 8:50. Hello families! We hope all of you are as excited as we are to start school again. Below are the school supplies that each student is asked to bring to school. If you are looking for more ways to help there will be wish lists in each classroom from each individual teacher. See everyone at Back to School Night from 6-7 on Thursday!
School Supplies List:
2 composition notebooks
1 bottle of Elmer’s glue
1 backpack
1 1-inch three ring binder
2 boxes of kleenex
1 bottle of hand sanitizer
1 bulk snack item (pretzels, goldfish, animal crackers, etc.)

What a wonderful day to plant trees! As I shared in earlier blogs, we have been working with Mrs. Argus’ class to plant fruit trees. As we end our recycling/tree project, we have two additions to our garden to share with the school. Today our class and Mrs. Argus’ class planted two apple trees near our school garden. We planted one Gala Apple tree and one Johnathon Apple tree. Check out the pictures below to see how our afternoon went!

This week, we received a series of letters from our chickens! They led us on a chase throughout the school to see their secret message.
