JOIN OUR TEAM

Any undergraduate student enrolled at Butler may join the Speech and Debate Team, regardless of experience, college, or major. Students determine their own level of involvement, traveling to as few or as many tournaments as they wish, with certain limitations. Our team is split into two components: Individual Events (Speech) and Debate. Student may compete in either or both. We ask for each student to commit to at least one hour of practice per week in addition to our weekly team meeting. Students may also enroll in a 1-credit hour course for academic credit.

If you are interested in joining the team or have questions about the team, please contact our coaches at jcrawfor@butler.edu or gmoser@butler.edu.
