Speech Team at State

The Butler University speech and debate team traveled to Ball State on Saturday where they performed well.  Matt Miller brought home a 3rd in Extemporaneous speaking and Kelsey Coy brought home a 6th in Rhetorical Criticism.  The winner of the day was Lauren Lupkowski with her paper entitled “The Impact of ‘The Last Lecture.'”  Ms Lupkowski was awarded $100!  Next for the team is Public Forum Nationals, Novice Nationals in March, and NFA in April.  Go Team!
