Butler is currently on a two game losing streak, falling to Georgetown this past Friday night. The Bulldogs look to bounce back for a road win this Wednesday against Seton Hall.

Seton Hall is currently on a seven game losing streak with an overall record of 6-16 and they stand 1-10 in the Big East. After coming off of a seventeen point loss to DePaul on the road they will look to return home and break their losing streak.

Butler had two notable performances in their first meeting with the Pirates, Pierre Brooks II scored 19 points and Andre Screen with 16 points off of the bench. The Bulldogs led for most of the game and took a 13 point lead halfway through the second half but really struggled to shoot the three (31.8%) which opened the gates for the Pirates. Seton Hall had two notable performances from Chaunce Jenkins with 21 points and Scotty Middleton off of the bench with 14 points to try to push the Pirates over the hump. Butler ultimately came out on top with a final score of 82-77.

Looking ahead to their matchup on Wednesday the Bulldogs are going to need to shoot better from three and limit their turnovers which has been a consistent issue for the team this season. Butler will need to focus on the Pirates star guard Isaiah Coleman whom they kept to 11 points and forced him to shoot only 30% from the field in their first meeting. Butler has always been tested in the second half, the Bulldogs need to ensure they do not take their foot off of the gas to leave zero openings for the Pirates to get hot.

Butler is looking to break their two game losing streak and this could be a big road win to help the Bulldogs finish the season strong and help them jump up through the conference standings.
