0In the library: a lot of color printing, posted information about public phone on the updates page, helped people search for and locate books, helped people scan documents, Ginny helped clarify some of the new copy procedures and some questions I had
CAT: Monday, forgot to post on blog: finished the first Excel quiz, watched the excel atomic learning videos, and started the Excel workbook project. Worked today from 1-3 at the library to cover a shift and staid through until 4 to go over some procedures and questions I had for Ginny.

0Today I shelf read. I also spent time looking at specific class lib guides and seeing what sorts of information was available on them as well as the links and the relation that the links have to the class.

0Today in the library I went over the copy card info with Melissa and had a few consultations. For the rest of the time I looked up continuing education articles on technology news

0It was very busy for the first part of my shift. I had a lot of logins and a ton of printing/scanner questions. Things died down later, and I took some time to review BU Answers and do shelf reading.

0The first part of my shift I spent tidying up the area. I logged a few public patrons onto the computer. I spent the last half of my shift helping someone with a research question.

0Today I helped someone out with a copying question. I helped log someone on the computer. I also had to direct a phone call to circulation desk since they could better help her out. I also got an IM from a student wanting to know how to do fade ins/fade outs in wevideo. I IM’d Sally and she told me to provide her with information on how to get in contact with CAT and make an appointment because that’s the place that could better help her out with her question. I also went through all the Citation information on the library homepage. That’s pretty much all that happened today.
