Blue II won my heart just because I’m a Butler fan. By way of social media, his presence was perfectly maintained. While being case in point for effective use of social media — brilliantly and deftly managed — the high level of awareness brought to the university through Blue II’s role also had much to do with his personality. Not just any Dawg could have managed being Butler’s ambassador with such grace and style. Always regal and ready for the photo op, he was born to wear the monogram. Blue II was the perfect guy with the perfect family that loved and adored him. Here’s hoping there’s plenty of Huddle’s in heaven and the Dawg Pound is cheering just for him.
