Kathy Matthies
I remember seeing you come out of the Blue Mobile and head to Jordan as I was coming to work. Pops sometimes had to prod you to come along because you would rather sniff in the bushes or say “hi’ to the people who greeted you. I remember you at Starbucks getting so excited over your pup cups! I remember watching you devour a box with relish because you were, after all, a tough Butler bulldog. I remember you as a celebrity – and you didn’t let it get to your head. I, and your thousands of Butler fans, will really, really miss you, Blue. Someday I hope to see you again in heaven – where I’ll see you happily wrestling with Tony Hinkle’s basketball. Rest in Peace, Blue II.
