Angie McMichael
Been a Butler fan since 94. Was there at Hinkle when you were introduced and fell in love you with immediately. It’s been so much fun watching you over the years. I loved seeing the men’s basketball team give you good luck rubs over the years and then watching you trot across the court to retrieve your ginormous dog bone. Loved watching you during all the Final Four festivities, especially seeing you on TMZ and with Jimmy Fallon during the Super Bowl. I have two dogs of my own, and even though you were not a part of my family, you were still a part of my family. I am so thankful that Mr. Kaltenmark and his family shared you with the world. Your pictures were funny and heartwarming. You will be missed very much. You left your paw print on America’s heart, Blue, and you are loved. We are all sad that you are no longer with us but we are comforted by the fact that Heaven gained a furry angel and you are running around, happy, loved, and grabbing every rawhide bone you can get your teeth on. Trip has some mighty big paw prints to fill, but we all know you taught him well. Be happy and rest in peace Blue. You were such a good boy.
