As an “adopted Bulldog” (I married into it), I have enjoyed watching Blue II from his first days on campus. As a basketball season ticket holder my favorite memories are of sitting next to people who hadn’t been to a game at Hinkle before, or watching the opposing team’s fans, reactions as Blue dashed across the floor for his giant bone from the Dawg Pound. He captured everyone’s attention even the most die-hard fans of our rivals cracked a smile when they saw him. He brought a smile to anybody’s path that he crossed.
