Michael Kaltenmark is a 2002 graduate of Butler University and currently the school’s Director of Web Marketing. However, Kaltenmark is perhaps better known for his role as caretaker of Butler’s live English Bulldog mascots and social media mavens, Butler Blue II and Blue III.
Prior to directing Butler’s Web marketing efforts over the last three years, Kaltenmark spent his first eight years on the University’s staff in various roles within the Office of Development. In addition, Kaltenmark worked part-time as the public relations coordinator for Vision Racing over the course of six Izod IndyCar Series seasons, from 2005-2010.
A champion of higher education, Kaltenmark is currently in the process of earning his master’s degree from Butler in Effective Teaching and Leadership.
When not on campus Kaltenmark enjoys triathlon training and competition. He is also an avid music enthusiast and concert attendee.
Kaltenmark and his wife, Tiffany, have one son, Everett (age 2).
