We are eternally grateful for your contributions to our Alma Mater! We miss you already! Wishing you big bones, froyo, and tail wagon rides in heaven. We suppose God needed a mascot and you are the best.

I’m so sorry for the loss of Blue II. He was such a wonderful dog! I have several memories of him but my two favorite are when my son, Xander, would visit campus we would always have to go find Blue II. He played with him a lot! My second is when I was managing the BU Mail Center located in the basement of Holcomb and Blue II would come visit. We had a plastic frog that would “ribbit” wit…

I met Blue II during our first Final Four run – full of attitude and a Dawg that knew how to rise the occasion. He embodied The Butler Way – giving everything he had so that Butler could shine. Good boy Blue…you’ll be missed but remembered forever.

Sweet Blue, I am so saddened to hear that you passed. I was very upset when I learned of your diagnosis and I’m heartbroken now. I may have gone to IU, but you were the cutest mascot. I loved following you on all the social media sites and seeing what antics you were up to. You were loved by so many, and I’m proof that the love was not just from the Bulter/Indianapolis community. RIP Buddy.
