I’m excited to share some big news as the year comes to a close and the month of December begins; my new website has been launched and I’m going on tour!

ButlerBlue.com is live and will serve not only as my new site, but the online home of Butler University’s entire live mascot program, so you’ll be able to find Butler Blue III (Trip) related content there as well.

Speaking of site content, there’s a lot of great stuff including a lot of free downloads in the “Doggie Bag,” but perhaps the most noteworthy are the pages related to Big Dawgs Tour.

Big Dawgs Tour

Announced on Friday, Dec. 7, the Big Dawgs Tour won’t actually see the Built Ford Tough Blue Mobile pull out of 46th & Sunset until Dec. 28, bound for Louisville, Ky and Nashville, Tenn. That’s the first of four legs, which, all told, will take Trip and me to places like Washington D.C., Philadelphia, New York City and more as we follow the Butler men’s basketball team along their Atlantic 10 schedule.

Hey, it’s the first time that the team will be playing those markets as A10 participants, so why not make a splash when the Bulldogs come to town? That’s why they’re sending us, the “Big Dawgs.”

You’ll want to follow us on these journeys as we’ll be making a point to hit some iconic landmarks, roadside attractions, and tourist traps. All the while, we’ll be tweeting, blogging, posting and essentially taking you along for the ride.

Big Dawgs Tour Contest

On the topic of coming with us, well, you can’t because there just isn’t enough room in the Blue Mobile, however, that doesn’t mean we can’t come see you. Yep, just imagine your door bell ringing and waiting outside are two of America’s finest looking bulldogs. It could happen!

After all, if we’re going to get out of the office and hit the open road, then we might as well get everyone involved. So, we created the Big Dawgs Tour Contest which features two ways to enter and two ways to win.

Personal Visit:

If you live along one of the Big Dawgs Tour routes, you can enter to win a personal visit from Trip and me, where we could come to your house, pose for pictures, raid your kitchen and be on our way.

Tour Swag Bags:

Our travels our limited to just one section of this great nation, thus, not everyone can enter a chance for us to come see them, but that doesn’t mean you’re completely out of the mix. We’re taking quite a bit of swag to give away and share when we go on tour and well, we have some extras.
