Dick Halstead is currently an independent consultant in the areas of finance and employment services.  Dick received his undergraduate degree, BS in Accounting, from the University of Rhode Island in 1973 and earned his MBA from Babson College 3 years later.  Dick began his career in public accounting and worked as a CPA in both public accounting and private industry for fifteen years. His career commenced in Boston, Massachusetts (Touche Ross & Co., 1973-1976) and then included international tours in Caracas, Venezuela (Price Waterhouse International, 1976-1978) and Brussels, Belgium (Clark Equipment Company 1978-1983).  After completing his international work, Dick relocated to the Midwest, assuming the responsibilities of Division Controller for a Fortune 100 manufacturing company, Clark Equipment.  Ten years after Fortune 100 employment, Dick experienced the entrepreneurial satisfaction of starting two businesses, one multi-unit, specialty retail and one business-to-business service, an accounting search/placement firm.  After 12 years and enjoying successful runs in these businesses, both were sold.  Dick, his wife Cheri, and two children (Chris, 25 and Mark, 22) have resided in Indianapolis during the last 22 years.  Currently, Dick and his wife enjoy volunteer work and international travel.

Denise E. Williams, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor in Management and a lead instructor in the experiential Real Business Experience (RBE) program.  She received her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Entrepreneurship from Indiana University- Kelley School of Business and an MBA from Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.  Prior to joining Butler, Denise held officer and senior marketing management positions with Robert Half International, General Mills, United Airlines, Foote Cone & Belding Advertising, MOJO Advertising, Gary/Chicago International Airport, and DEW Consulting Group, Inc. (Founder).  Additionally, she has taught at Indiana University, Loyola University-New Orleans, and Golden Gate University-San Francisco.  Research interests include behavior, training and diversity in entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs.

Zach Finn

Clinical Professor & Director, Davey Risk Management & Insurance Program

Zach joins the College of Business as an Clinical Professor and Director of the Davey Risk Management & Insurance Program. He received his B.S. in insurance and risk management from Indiana State University, M.S. in risk management and insurance from Florida State University, and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) professional designation from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters. Prior to joining Butler, Zach worked for 11 years in the field of Risk Management & Employee Benefits. Most recently, he was the Risk Manager for The J.M. Smucker Company in Orrville, Ohio.
