Tim Ahlersmeyer

Parliamentarian

My name is Tim Ahlersmeyer, and I am a Sophomore Finance and Accounting major. As Parliamentarian, it is my job to make sure that all meetings, votes, and other legislative processes abide by our constitution, as well as organized parliamentary procedure. In SGA meetings and SGA assembly, we use Robert’s Rules, the most commonly adopted parliamentary authority among societies across the United States. I am really looking forward to this year, as I will have the opportunity to meet with a variety of students as well as new student organizations. I am excited for what this coming year will bring, and I will do whatever I can to not only improve SGA, but Butler as a whole. Never hesitate to come up and chat with me – I am always excited to meet new people!

Outside of SGA, I am a Butler Student Ambassador, as well a Resident Assistant. I enjoy presenting our campus to incoming students and letting them know all that Butler has to offer. Also, I look forward to helping incoming freshmen with their transition to college through my role as an RA. I enjoy helping to make the university the best it can be because of what it has done for me.
