Totally Tabata Tuesday

Keep Goin!!!!

Here is something I have picked up during the summer to add some spice to my running routine.  Every Tuesday, I try to set about a half an hour aside to do some tabata training.  Tabata is a method where one works at maximum effort for twenty seconds followed by ten seconds of rest.  If you do the math, completing eight rounds adds up to a total of only four minutes — voila!  Maximum effort AND maximum fat loss.  However, if you are a beginner, I highly recommend working for shorter periods of time, followed by longer periods of rest.  If you are really feeling fit and fabulous, you can always extend your sweat session.  The nice thing about these workouts?  They are fast and effective, letting you get on with your day, yet experience results.  Just make sure to have a towel (and some water!) ready.  Click here to explore all tabata has to offer and lets go break a sweat!
