November’s NO FEAR GEAR!!!

This month, we are not really focusing on “gear” per se, but rather sounds.  Finals are approaching, we’re beginning to travel and it takes a little more effort to make it to the gym.  However, to spice up your routine (both inside and outside of the gym), add a little music.  Have Christmas come a little early this year and get yourself some itunes, or dig out an old CD to play during a run or a lift session.  If you need some suggestions or a starting point, here are some of the songs I have been listening to lately to propel myself into Thanksgiving Break.

My Top Tracks for November

1. Loud — Mac Miller

2. Monster — Kanye West

3. Run — Snow Patrol

4. Immigrant Song — Led Zeppelin

5. One (Your Name) — Swedish House Maffia

6. It’s Tricky — Run DMC

7. Best One Yet — Black Eyed Peas

8. Uprising — Muse

9. No You Girls — Franz Ferdinand

10. In the Dark — Dev

11. All These Things That I’ve Done — The Killers

12. Hey Ya! — OutKast

13. R U Mine?  — Arctic Monkeys

14. Ooh La La — Goldfrapp

Yes, some of my tunes are outdated, but I always have a few signature staples.  Prime example: when I don’t want to get out of bed and life is a little “Tricky,” I hurry and turn on Run-DMC to give me some motivation (and I tend to have a lot more of those moments as the Holiday Season approaches).
