Finals week is approaching. Half of me knows that the semester (and also my Butler career) are coming to a close — I just have to push through! The other half knows I still have responsibilities that continue to stack up, causing stress. Therefore I am asking you this month to partake in December’s Monthly challenge with me. On the Wednesdays of these next couple of weeks, I will report something that helps me to “unwind” during stressful times. These are things that should completely relax you, yet motivate you when you return to your work. For me, I like to go for a quick 30 minute run or find a new recipe to bake.
During my breaks from studying, I choose to embrace the spirit of the Holiday season with my roommates or my family whether it be baking Christmas cookies or watching the 25 Days of Christmas. And yes, I am one of those people that works out to Christmas music! Check my archives for my holiday playlist!
Most importantly, listen to these wise words from Nelson Mandela. Have a great week everyone, hang in there w’ere almost there!
