DECEMBER Monthly Challenge

Finals. done. classes done. meetings. done! Finally a time to revive, rejuvenate and refresh; until you remember that relatives are coming for the Holidays, you have things to buy and friends to see before heading back next semester. There are not enough hours in the day! However, my challenge to you this month is to squeeze in a LITTLE time for yourself, trying something you have never done before for just TEN minutes a day — no more. Personally, I have started practicing some yoga. To all you yogi’s out there, I am EXTREMELY jealous. In my mind, yoga is a game consisting of a white sheet with multicolored dots — they call it twister. But I am working on it; even if I only have a small amount of time my goal is to incorporate a few sequences, hopefully one day making it apart of my regular fitness routine!

Rememer, it does not have to be fitness/workout related; maybe it’s to take up knitting or photography — Something different that maybe you can incorporate into your New Year’s Resolution. Speaking of, before we enter the new year, do you guys have any new years resolutions you would like to shout out?

That’s awesome!! I know you have already started. I am not in the “training phase” right now, but do you have any advice for someone who is beginning to train for their fiirst race?
